Here’s a little treat and challenge if you’re a movie buff, loyal reader. I found this link last week and meant to share it with you.
I don’t actually have numbers to back it up, but I do believe that New York City has been the setting for more movies than any other town. Strange since you would think Los Angeles would be the default town, what with Hollywood being there and very consistent weather making shoots easier to manage.
There’s no doubt, though, that the Big Apple has landmarks, character and majesty to accommodate everything from dramas to comedy, musicals to thrillers.
So for all you movie lovers out there, enjoy this map of New York showcasing 91 famous movies that took place in the City that Never Sleeps. How many can you name?
